At the height of the “Me Too” movement, cabaret performers at La Scandal present an unconventional brand of sexual assertiveness and female empowerment. La Scandal is the oldest cabaret theater in New York City. This series accompanied an oral history documenting personal perspectives and the cultural significance of burlesque cabaret theater.
